It was a sunny & beautifully breezy Naples day on 2.22.20 when Amy & Seth said their I Do's. Surrounded by so many supportive, and loving family & friends they became one in St. Peter's the Apostle Catholic Church. They then celebrated their union at Verona Walk after taking some fun wedding party portraits on a gorgeous Naples beach.
From the very start Amy & Seth's energies were relaxed, but excited. It was as if they had done this together in another lifetime. It was lovely to witness. Everyone seemed like family, all so helpful and welcoming. I hope that these images show you just how loved Amy & Seth were, and how in love they are.
Let's start with some of my favorite details
Amy was such a beautiful bride and the details of her dress, jewelry and bouquet were the best!
We can't forget about the groom though! Seth looked so dapper!
Time to show off this good looking bunch!
So many great memories of this group of hilarious and sweet people!
One prompt I typically ask my wedding parties is to get together for a nice smiley photo & then start to walk towards me, look at each other & smile, and then after a few steps I'll ask the bride & groom to walk ahead of the group & then ask the wedding party to run up & embrace the couple & interact with them while I continue to capture moments from there. It's personally a favorite prompt of mine & won't be going anywhere! lol Here is the result of that prompt
See?! Ugh. My heart freakin' melts looking at these memories!
Now before we enjoy precious moments of Amy & Seth as newlyweds lets back up & reminisce over their church ceremony!
Tip: if you have time during the ceremony (or during any other time throughout the wedding day) go ahead and pull out a crystal prism or your cell phone & play around with different affects to add depth & unique detail to your photos!
Every moment during their ceremony was beautiful. You could see and feel the love & support throughout the room. Now let's enjoy some lovey dovey, mushy gushy memories of these love birds!!
Ooohhh I love me a good hand image! As you'll see in a lot of my work, I absolutely love the details of hands and the connection that an image of hands coming together shows.
& Best believe if you want veil shots I will be getting under that baby with ya and getting all up in yo faces! hahaha Promise it'll be worth it though ;)
Aren't they the cutest?! Now let's take a moment to change our focus from Amy & Seth to her sister Anna who is no longer with us, but was definitely there in spirit every moment during their wedding day. I can only imagine how amazing Anna was and wish I had the honor of meeting her. Before the reception we took some time to visit Anna's bench and Amy, her brother & Seth shared some quiet moments with her to celebrate.
Amy loves butterflies and they are very significant to Amy & Anna. She wanted to have a butterfly release, but decided not to for her own reasons. I, too, love butterflies - as you know since I have a butterfly in my logo! - and find significance in them as well, especially in regards to passed loved ones. Amy & I really bonded over our love for butterflies.
Now it's time to partayyy!! Let's first enjoy the lovely details of their reception at Verona Walk
I'm not sure y'all are ready for this very emotional, heart-felt, fun-filled, hilarious, and loving reception! I mean, I don't even think I was fully prepared haha, but there I was clicking that shutter non-stop so I didn't miss a moment & having a blast with my couple every step of the way! Let's welcome Mr. & Mrs. Flahaven !!!!
The beautiful first dance
Father daughter dance & mother son dance <3
The thank you speeches were so kind and full of laughter!
Next up were the maid of honor & best man speeches!! Not a dry eye in the room y'all...for real. These speeches were so full of love, & the best stories lol!
Every one was enjoying the speeches & I'm so glad I captured many of their reactions
Then it was dinner time! Dinner was so good, and I'm always so thankful when my couple's help us feel apart of the party and let us join in during dinner. Especially since by that time my assistant and I are typically starving haha here is me when I'm eating during the reception lol!
And we can't forget the cake cutting!
Now who's ready for the party?! The band put on such a good show, but my couple's, wedding party & the guests made the night even more interesting ;) haha!
By the way 30 Vice was my first live band I got to witness at a wedding in a long time, and I loved it! Couples I would highly suggest 30 Vice as a live band option if you're into that type of thing for your reception :)
Throw on your neck fan y'all, because you're gonna need it! ;)
We cannot forget the infamous Purdue flag! I'm so happy my couple brought their flag to celebrate those who all graduated from there & were one big Purdue family!
It's hard to put into words how special this day was! I appreciate this couple & their loved ones so much. It's crazy how you can connect so well with people that you may never see again, but my couple's wedding days will always hold a special place in my heart. Cheers to Amy & Seth, I hope your lives are full of so much love, happiness & laughter. I love y'all!
